Enhance the southwest area of your living room and bedroom by creating a grouping of family pictures framed in terra cotta or earth tones. You can also symbolically place a favorite collection in that same area to help multiply positive relationship energy. A beautiful bouquet of flowers in varying sizes and colors will work as well. Make sure the colors create a happy smile on your face every time you look at them. In the west area of your home you can use a wonderful picture on the wall of a field of sunflowers dancing in the sunshine or a still life of a brass pot overflowing with an abundance of fruit. Make sure the predominant color in the picture is gold as it represents the west and children. Both areas need to be enhanced for prosperity energy to flow into your home from children, family, friends and associates.

In order to enhance the financial wealth and resources area of your life you need to look toward the southeast and the northwest areas of your living room. In the southeast place a luscious wonderful green growing plant as this is the wealth area. If you are not into plants, an alternative would be a money pot or something very symbolic to you of a pot of gold. You will also need to enhance the northwest which is the helpful people area of your home. In order to attract more wealth all of us need helpful people in our lives who can lead us to new business ventures, investments or introduce us to much needed contacts. Enhance the northwest area by using silver. It can be elegant silver picture frames of you at very successful events youve created or with helpful business associates and friends. A large beautiful vase or statue in silver will also work well.

Wealth and prosperity come in many shapes and sizes so you need to determine exactly what type of prosperity you are looking for and then focus your energy and the energy in your surroundings to help make it happen.

January is a time where people tend to make resolutions to maybe lose weight, stop smoking, etc. but some people will be finally making the resolution to get their vision corrected by more than just glasses or contact lenses. Of course, any kind of vision correction requires a detailed and thorough consultation by an eye clinic and ophthalmologist to check suitability, but here we will look at the 3 most common types of vision correction.

Laser Vision Correction

Laser vision correction, or LVC, is probably the most common vision correction method when people initially start researching about getting their eye sight corrected. There are various types of laser vision correction and machines to carry it out, but the main to procedures are LASIK (Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis) and LASEK (Laser-Assisted Subepithelial Keratomileusis).

With the LASIK procedure, a femtosecond laser is used to create a flap on the cornea. The flap then is opened like the page of a book to expose tissue just below the corneas surface. Next, the excimer laser is used to remove ultra-thin layers from the cornea to reshape it to reduce nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism. Finally, the flap is returned to its original position.

During the LASEK procedure instead of a femtosecond laser creating a flap, a dilute solution of alcohol in placed within a ring on the cornea, this softens the top cells of the cornea which are then gently pushed over to one side. Again, the excimer laser is used to remove ultra-thin layers from the cornea to reshape it to reduce nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism. The remaining cells are then pushed back onto the cornea and a bandage contact lens is applied to the surface of the eye to facilitate healing of the epithelium and which will be removed at the first follow up appointment.

Implantable Contact Lens

Implantable contact lenses, or ICLs, medically called phakic IOL lens implants, can be used if someone is unsuitable for laser vision correction, this may be due to prescription, shape of the cornea, or pupil size, amongst many other reasons. There are two main types of ICLs, behind the iris or in front of the iris (iris clip). With both procedures the implantable lenses have a power which corrects the prescription.

The most common type of ICL is behind the iris as you are unable to see the lens within the eye. During behind the iris ICL surgery the ophthalmologist makes a small incision between the white and coloured part of the eye, the incision is only a few millimetres, then the lens is implanted through the incision. The lens is folded up within a cartridge and as it is being implanted will start to unfold within the eye behind the iris and then it will be manoeuvred into place. With iris clip ICLs a small incision will be made between the white and coloured part of the eye again. This time the lens is implanted through the incision but on top of the iris. There are clips on either side of the lens which are clipped to the iris once the lens is in the correct position.

Refractive Lens Exchange

Refractive lens exchange, or RLE, surgery replaces the natural clear lens (or with very early cataract, preventing the natural lens developing a more advanced cataract) with an artificial intraocular lens to correct vision. It is especially good for people with high myopia or presbyopia (natural aging of the eye) and is a better alternative to laser vision correction in older people. It is also an option where laser vision correction is not indicated or not able to correct vision such as in young people with high levels of long-sightedness.

The usual technique to remove the natural lens is called phaco-emulsification. A tiny incision is made between the white and coloured part of the eye. Then the natural lens is softened with ultrasound through the incision and removed through a small tube. The artificial lens is then implanted into the eye, which is supported by a bag of lens tissue (capsule). The lens implant stays in the eye permanently.

There are various types of artificial lenses that can be implanted into the eyes to correct vision; a monofocal lens implant will correct distance vision only, monovision using monofocal lens implants will correct one eye for distance and one eye for reading, and premium lens implants such as multifocal and trifocal lenses will correct both eyes the same for distance, near and intermediate.

All three procedures above are normally carried out while the you are awake, but the eye has been completely numbed so you wont feel anything, and they are all quite quick procedures.

New Homes May Be Uninsurable

Justin Jacobs, assistant director of property at the ABI, said: The Governments ambitious housing plans are in jeopardy unless we reduce the flood risk. In the last year, 13 major developments have been given the go ahead despite Environment Agency advice on the flood risk.

The Government tried to allay any fears. Iain Wright, Housing Minister, said that the Government had introduced the strongest planning rules ever to ensure councils properly managed the risk of flooding.

It is up to councils to decide whether to give planning permission for new housing developments, but these rules mean they must consult with the Environment Agency before allowing new building in flood risk areas, added Mr Wright.

Mr Jacobs believes where a local authority plans to ignore flood risk advice the Government should step in and review the proposals and be compelled to publish their decision.

Insurers want to continue to provide flood cover but poor planning decisions will lead to more homes becoming unsaleable, uninsurable and uninhabitable, added Mr Jacobs.

The ABI have promised to still maintain flood damage coverage for those living in vulnerable homes where the risks are being dealt with. They warn that flood cover may not be extended to the 3 million homes the Government proposes to build on a floodplain.

Floods in Gloucestershire and Yorkshire last year created damage that cost 3 billion to fix. Halifax estimated roof damage to be 4.5 billion and an additional 2.5 billion was needed to clean up leaks from the roofs.

Due to the cost of flood damage homeowners are warned about the cost of home insurance.

Richard Mason, director of insurance at moneysupermarket.com said: We will see a hefty hike in home insurance premiums in the future because the average cost of settling a flooding home insurance claim has risen to 70,000 to 200,000 which is unsustainable for the insurance industry to bear in the long term unless insurance premiums rise.

The average price of content insurance is 152 and buildings insurance is 209.

Most people seeking home insurance do so to protect their building and contents from theft, fire and floods. Less risk means a lower premium.

Advice to those who want to avoid flooding includes laying concrete floors with tiles on rather than timber, moving electrical points above the flood line, replacing absorbent kitchen surfaces with plastic ones and using a water-resistant type of plastering.

Mr Mason said: Home owners whose properties are at risk must have good quality home insurance. Doing so ensures they will continue to be covered regardless of what happens in the future.

My advice is to have a policy with a well-known insurer such as Norwich Union or Halifax.

He also advised checking the Environment Agencys flood map when looking for a home.

A couple of weeks ago, a colleague of mine sent me an email noted "Important Notice not a joke". Normally, this would have been sent immediately to my trash bin, but since I actually knew this guy I decided to go ahead and give it a look. Based on his email, he's seemed to be extremely excited about an opportunity that he considered to be a "gift" from his well-trusted friend (keywords) and naturally he wanted to pass it along to others. So I listened to a 2-minute and a 20-minute recording, curious to see if I would reach that same level of excitement as he did. Well did I? Not so much?
Fast-forward two weeks later?

As I prepared to attend my daughter's basketball game, I received a phone call. I wasn't sure who it was, but the number shared the same area code as mine so I answered it. It was him calling from his landline (that explains why his caller ID didn't show up?smh). I already suspected what he'd might say, so I just prepared myself for the "pitch".

"Hey, Mike! Did you get my email that I sent to you a couple of weeks ago? What did you think?"

A commission will be paid every month when ten new license plate numbers are entered or when new consultants are sponsored, management overrides will be received based on their production. However, from viewing the comp. plan it seems that you will absolutely need to have a fairly large organization if you are planning on receiving a nice-sized monthly income. Downline attrition combined with the inability to sponsor new reps on a consistent basis will quickly put you out of business if you're not taking action.

This is entirely up to you. However, I would advise that you evaluate this company thoroughly and make a smart business decision. Don't make a silly decision to jump on board just because you attended one of those hotel-hype meetings and got overly excited about the opportunity. Is Narc Technologies A Legit Business?

You have to wonder if randomly selected license plates from narc consultants will hold any significance to the repo agencies. How do you actually know if they are actually paying for the license plate information that is being entered into the national data base?or is the real cashflow coming from the constant recruiting of people combined with the $24.95 monthly website fee?

So, is this company a scam?

Well I wouldn't go that far, but seeing that there isn't much of a product involved has made me raise an eyebrow. In order to make an substantial income with this company, the emphasis is placed on recruiting rather than the selling of products?and well you be the judge.

Why I Wouldn't Join This Company

#1 -I would more than likely never join a company that doesn't actually show its distributors how to market their opportunity. One thing that a lot of network marketing companies are missing is a duplicatable system in place for its distributors. (Telling anyone with a pulse and getting them to tell anyone with a pulse about your opportunity is NOT a system!) Narc That Car is no different. Systems can be duplicated, people cannot (Just ask McDonald's). All of that "you get 3 and help them get their 3 and so forth" is out of the window.

#2 - 95% of companies fail in their first 2 years and their Network Marketing Go Live was started in July of 2009 so personally I wouldn't invest in a company that hasn't shown me some type of stability. However given their low start-up fee of somewhere in the range of $75-$100, you wouldn't be losing too much if the company takes a turn for the worse.

Whether youre an old hand looking for some challenging blacks and daring off pistes or a beginner wanting to try it out for the first time, the skiing in Morzine has plenty to offer. Thats because Morzine is at the heart of the extensive Portes du Soleil winter sports area. This 650km stretch of snow-capped mountains encompasses a staggering 12 resorts stretching across two countries, all of which are connected by a network of modern lifts.
While of course you came for the excellent skiing in Morzine, youll be thrilled by everything else this year-round thriving Alpine town has to offer. Because the town supports its own population (as well as the tourist influx), you can expect a really good range of restaurants from small local eateries to elegant fine dining warm, welcoming cafs and a thriving aprs ski scene. For those who love the mountains but dont want to ski there are also a range of other winter sports on offer.

But lets get back to the skiing: heres my introduction to the main areas youll want to explore while youre skiing in Morzine.

Pleney

Take the Pleney cable car from Morzine on a clear day and youll be rewarded with stunning views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. Then enjoy the beautiful tree-lined blue and red runs back towards the resort or over to Les Gets.

Nyon

The Nyon cable car will take you to an area which not only has some lovely blues and reds but also connects you to the Pleney and Les Gets runs, making this an ideal area for beginners and intermediates. The more advanced might also like to check out the powder in the freerider area.

Super Morzine

On the opposite side of the resort from the Pleney lift is the Super Morzine telecabine which will sweep you up to the runs of Avoriaz (by way of the Zore and Proclou chairlifts). Avoriaz often has the best snow and makes for a great day on the piste. Dont forget to check out the snow park if thats your thing.

Ardent

Heaven for beginners and early intermediates, the Ardent telecabine takes you to the excellent runs of Lindarets. Spend the day exploring the area before taking the scenic tree-lined blue run back down to the bottom of the Ardent lift where you can enjoy the excellent aprs vibe at the Happy Hours bar.

Prodains

If you want to get up to Avoriaz without having to change lifts then take the shuttle bus to the Prodains cable car. It will speed you up the mountain straight into the centre of the higher resort.

Lindaret

Lindaret , the starting point for the Portes du Soleil circuit, is a wide valley with loads of varied skiing, mountain restaurants and some decent off-piste opportunities. Start here and then head over to Chatel for a bit more of a challenge as the two areas are connected by lifts.

Chatel

This is definitely the place to head for if youre looking for some more challenging off piste skiing. Chatel also has a wide range of different level runs, perfect to explore if youre skiing with a group of varying abilities.

Getting There

The great thing about skiing in Morzine is that it is so accessible. Take an early flight from the UK to Geneva (flying time is around 90 minutes), book an airport transfer to drive you to the resort (another 90 minutes), and you could be on the slopes by the afternoon.
